In accordance with the “No Surprise Act” Physician Surgery Center of Albuquerque will provide our patients with a good faith estimate for expected charges. Patients eligible are those that do not have insurance or patients whose insurance is out of network for our practice. Please contact our Billing Department at 505-639-4640 for more information.
Physician Surgery Center of Albuquerque participates with many insurance plans and we will be happy to submit your claim for the “facility-fee” associated with your surgery. In order to do this accurately we need a copy of your current insurance card to include your member ID and group numbers, the claim filing address and phone number. Please have that information and your photo ID whenever you come to our facility. If you change your insurance please don’t forget to keep us up to date!
Your physician and anesthesiologist or certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) will bill claims for their fees separately.
Patient responsibility amounts are estimated and due on the day of your surgery. We do our best to give you an accurate amount.
The amount may include copayments, co-insurance, deductibles, percentages of the fee, non-covered service charges or any combination of these. Please remember this is an estimate. Confirmed amounts are only available after the claim has been submitted and processed by your insurance.
In-Network participation is very specific to YOUR insurance plan. It is the responsibility of the patient to ensure PSCA is participating with your plan. When in doubt, contact your insurance company.
Presently, PSCA is accepts patients with the following insurance as “in-network”
Presbyterian Health Plan has denied PSCA’s repeated requests to become an in-network facility which limits PHP member’s access to our facility regardless of what your surgeon prefers. However, we feel every patient should have a choice regarding surgical facilities! If you are covered by PHP and have out of network benefits, we can help calculate the approximate out of pocket expense at PSCA. Patients who are unable to choose PSCA due to insurance restrictions are encouraged to discuss their options with their surgeons.

We accept payment by cash, check, bank card, and money order.
CareCredit is also available for those requiring financing of non-covered or out of pocket expenses.
